As the summer heat continues, the need to water our vegetable gardens, flowers and yards becomes a daily task. While I usually enjoy my time outside, I don’t enjoy using a leaky watering system. You know the kind- you turn on the water and the faucet waters the house while the spray nozzle sprays you, your shoes, runs down your arm and basically does everything but water what you wanted? That’s why I am happy to work with our sponsor LeakFree by Nelson to share this information with you. They were kind enough to send me a Leakfree starter kit to try free of charge.
About LeakFree by Nelson:
“The new LeakFree system guarantees watertight connections for completely leak free watering. Years in the making, LeakFree distinguishes itself from other leak-resistant products through its patented triple-seal technology that prevents leaks at all connection points: faucet to hose to watering tool. In addition, a built-in automatic shutoff valve stops the flow of water to keep users dry while changing watering tools, such as nozzle to sprinkler.”
My starter kit included:
- Faucet to hose adaptor with dual seal connection that fits most U.S. faucet designs
- LeakFree heavy duty hose featuring–Triple seal connection, easy change auto-shut off, 400 PSI pressure, kink free resistance and flexibility.
- Adjustable spray nozzle with triple seal connection, rotating tip to adjust spray pattern from jet to mist, flow control knob, easy effort trigger.
Setting up our new watering system was quick and easy. My husband attached the faucet to hose adaptor.
Then attached the spray nozzle and I was ready to water.
The first thing I noticed was how lightweight the hose and spray nozzle was. The spray nozzle was easy to use, requiring very little squeeze effort on my part.
Jet Stream |
I really liked how easy it was to switch from jet stream to mist.
Mist Stream |
To gentle watering for delicate plants by using the rotating tip on the spray nozzle.
Gentle Stream |
You can even change the water force one handed while still watering, a feature I truly appreciated. I did all my watering with ease and most importantly with no leaks from the faucet or the nozzle, making my watering time enjoyable again. Be sure to look for the LeakFree System by Nelson at your local home improvement stores.

Now my grandmother would love to hear about this! She has been having a problem for a few years.
Sounds like something I need. My current nozzle doesn’t have a gentle mode and it too powerful for my container garden.
Very cool! I can think of several people in my family that could benefit from this! 🙂
Lol! I need it to call my name or be automatic! LOL!! My poor garden needs water but I never remember to do so!!!!
That is so cool! I hate leaky hoses!
I need a brand new spray nozzle and hose. Hubby ran one of the hoses over the other day and the nozzle I have is all corroded inside.
I always hate when the hoses leak.
This looks so easy to use. I love that it conserves water and doesn’t waste it while it is doing its job.
This is funny to come across your post because my husband was just talking about how he wishes that there were higher quality hoses. He has purchased 3 hoses in the past several years and said that we need to get another one because the current one leaks too much. I’ll have to tell him about this.
