The Natural Soap Chef #DIY

Soap making is absolutely a fun, relatively inexpensive, and gratifying DIY project.  Mastering the basics is enjoyable, but where the real beauty of this art form comes in is when you take your craft up a notch to incorporate advanced techniques and custom blends.

That’s why books like The Natural Soap Chef: Making Luxurious Delights from Cucumber Melon and Almond Cookie to Chai Tea and Espresso Forte make me giddy with DIY delight!

The Natural Soap Chef gives you all the beginner basics of soap making but then instantly cranks the volume up to include impressive, modern concoctions and tried and true recipes to transform your skin.  All designed with pampering in mind.

My favorite finds are recipes for “Guinness Stout Soap,” “Chocolate Souffle Soap” and “Juiced Bars” – all of which I plan to make for holiday gift giving.

In addition to step-by-step instruction, tips, and recipes, you’ll find gorgeous illustrations of finished product, impressive techniques to try, packaging and presentation, and a wealth of knowledge about soap-making history, terms, and resources. All chocked in to one very impressive DIY book.

If you’ve ever wanted to give soap making a whirl or if you want to take your soap making to the next level, you’ll certainly find everything you need in The Natural Soap Chef guide.
