It’s been quite some time since I found a lunchbox product that excited me. That may sound funny, but we are generally very excited about back-to-school time around here and finding great lunchbox products for the kids is naturally high on our list of supplies.
Generally, I’ve found the same-old-same-old with some variations on styles and imprints, but nothing I would consider inspiring lately until I was introduced to the Rubbermaid LunchBlox Sandwich Kit.
While simple in nature, this clever little ditty is perfectly designed to cover all the features on my wish list:
þ Compact
þ Ample container space
þ Sturdy
þ Variant size containers
þ Secure seal on the lids
þ Dishwasher safe
þ BPA-free
þ Kid approved “style” (perhaps the most important! If they don’t like it, it will not get used.)
Here’s the low-down, the Rubbermaid LunchBlox is designed to save space in your lunch bag, while keeping everything chilled and organized. The modular containers are microwave and freezer safe, and ideally proportioned for carrying a complete lunch.
The specially designed Blue Ice pack (my favorite piece) snap in directly below the sandwich container, in the middle of the containers, or on the top to direct optimal chill where you want it.
The only drawback I’ve found is that it does not fit stacked in every lunch box model available. However, there is a Rubbermaid LunchBlox lunchbox specially designed to fit and though you might not be able to stack it, you can still fit all the containers in just about every standard lunchbox on the market. In my opinion, though, it’s worth changing your lunchbox selection a little to accommodate this nifty product.

I could use these for my husbands lunch.
I could use one of these too. I pack lunch for my husband every day and he needs this!
