How Safe Are You in the Dark? @Safeesreflector Giveaway

When the sun sets, a calm hush covers the landscape as nighttime cloaks the Appalachians.  A peaceful end to a long farm day, but what makes our rural setting serene, also contributes to its dangers. Without streetlamps, if there’s no full moon (and sometimes even when there is) its a bit treacherous to find your way, let alone for others to see you in time to avoid and accident.

We country folks are certainly resilient and prepared with flashlights and lanterns, yet still it’s easy to find yourself in a situation without batteries for the flashlight or a match to light the way.  Whether on horseback heading towards home, walking to the barn from the field, finding yourself on the roadside with a flat tire, or sending your children out near the road to wait for the school bus – there’s always a situation where safety is compromised.

So when my good friend Grace of Blessed Elements told me about Safees, I knew Safees reflectors are a product Rural Moms not only needed to know about, but should consider as a “must have” for farm and roadside safety.  Check out Grace’s full review of this very cute (they come in multiple shapes including bears, horses and hearts,) innovate safety product here:  http://www.blessedelements.com/create/reflectors-safeesreflector
