We love going to the zoo so much that we are annual passholders for our local zoo. So, when first introduced to the Little People® Zoo Talkers™ Animal Sounds Zoo, of course, we were all instantly enchanted!
The Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo is a detailed,interactive playset featuring animal recognition technology. Place any Little PeopleZoo Talkers animal on the peg at the hut and it recognizes that specific animal and responds with that animal’s name and corresponding sound.
Fisher Price has brought all the fun of the zoo into our home with this clever, well-crafted toy set. My son has oodles of fun making animal sounds along with the interactive play pieces while zooming them around the zoo through through the cave, down the slide, on the swing, and around the playset triggering off fun phrases and moving features.
From a mom perspective, it’s great to see him happy at play, recreating memories from our zoo trips and using his imagination to create new scenerios. I’m also happy to find, as I’ve come to expect from Little People playsets, that the set is well-made, sturdy, and easy to assemble.
The playset incorporates four habitats (Grasslands, North and South Poles, Jungle, Water) with fun activities on both sides and room for multiple children to play at once. Grasslands features pass-through cave and lion’s perch. Arctic features a perch with squeaking sound effects plus a winding water-slide that exits into the Water region below – there, press the lily pad to get fun sound effects and watch the hippo’s mouth open and close. Jungle features swing, spinning treetop that clicks, teeter-totter with clicking sound as it moves and peek-a-boo door.
There’s a ticket area featuring a button that activates fun phrases and musical “ditties” about each habitat and loads of more built-in details like peek-a-boo openings. The combination of effects provides for hours and hours of interesting play. A handy handle allows for portability, making the set easy to transfer from room to room.
The Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo also comes with lion, polar bear and gorilla figures, and includes Zookeeper Zack figure. And, of course, the set is compatible with other Little People playsets and figures that you may already own or be considering for purchase.
Overall, a huge thumbs up for this clever and super fun playset!
