Wild Blueberry Maple Balsamic Dressing

What’s on top of your salad today?  It’s nearly summer time and that means salad season for me.  A crisp, cool refreshing choice for any sunny day and my new Wild Blueberry Maple Balsamic Dressing makes things even brighter!

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what’s on top of my salad, especially when it comes to dressings.  Most of the pre-packaged varieties are filled with questionable ingredients, preservatives, and tons of sodium.

In my quest for healthier, all-natural versions, I’ve been experimenting with making my own… and will simply never go back to store-bought versions!  It’s ridiculously easy to create your own and they are so fresh and tasty, it truly lifts your salad to new delicious heights.

Recently, I participated in a Mom Blog Tour Natural Products Expo West on behalf of Wendy’s Bloggers.  During our time at this amazing event, we discovered all sorts of wonderful new and innovative products to love. Two that are just perfect for salad dressing making – Wyman’s of Maine fruits and Crown Maple syrups – inspired me to create to sweet and tangy new dressing to enjoy this summer.

When pure maple syrups meet wild blueberries, it’s a magical match!  This pairing is one of my favorites to enjoy with oatmeal in the morning and it’s also truly delightful with salads when spunked up with a little balsamic and olive oil.  Wild Blueberry Maple Balsamic Dressing adds such a pretty burst of color to your salad!
