When a crazy-good film like GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY comes along, it’s not the type of movie you leave behind in the theater, particularly if you have children who have quickly fallen in love with the GOTG universe!
Quotes like “I am Groot” and “I dunno… 12 percent?” will soon pepper your daily conversations. Fantasies of space travel will fill your child’s mind. Encouraging their imaginative play is a great way to fuel their creativity, and of course, keep their excitement and love for the film alive.
Hasbro celebrates the film’s rag-tag group of heroes with a toy line that features action figures, role-play items, spaceships and all your favorite aliens from GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. A line of quality toys that are perfect for helping your little ones to find ways to save the galaxy in your own backyard!
From a mom perspective, I love fueling my child’s imaginations with toys that hold their interest longer than the film credits. With HASBRO, I know I’m also putting quality toys in their hands that offer cool features and interesting detail.
My sons are enthralled with the entire MARVEL GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY toy line-up and we’ve already added to the base collection HASBRO sent. Their favorite piece, the STAR LORD QUAD Blaster, is next on the line-up to quadruplicate in our home as boys each want to save the galaxy Peter Quill-style with duo blasters. The fact that the blasters are actual working NERF toys simply makes them that much “cooler” and ensure they will see plenty of action around our home.
The great thing about imaginative play is the kids find new ways to pair up toys and bring to life scenes of their own. For example, my youngest son wears his ROCKET RACOON MASK and carries STAR LORD’s blaster. It doesn’t matter to him whether it’s an exact replication of what he saw on-screen, he’s paying new paths on his way to save the galaxy!
The only challenging part of this collection is selecting which toys to play with first and which ones will actually make it to your child’s toy box! From an adult point-of-view, the HASBRO toys are also fabulous collectibles to enhance your personal fan-dom. The MARVEL’S GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY BATTLE FX STAR LORD Action Figure has certainly made my bookshelf line-up of other action hero greats like Han Solo, Wonder Woman and Thor.

After reviewing some of the toys in this series, and with the popularity of the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY film, I have no doubt they will be on plenty of holiday wish-lists this year! The role play toys would also be excellent pieces to create a Halloween costume around.

My little boy would L.O.V.E. these toys. He has a big imagination and lots of energy, so these toys seem like a perfect match for him.
That’s part of what I like best, they are well-designed with cool features but still leave plenty of room for the kiddos to use that energy and imagination during play time!
My boys love Hasbro toys. They were actually playing with their Nerf guns outside today.
You can never have enough Nerf guns! They are so much fun for the kids (and us adults!)
That mask is so much fun! I could totally see my husband and oldest son outside running around after one another with those on.
I can just picture it, too fun!
