Ever wish you could step onto the set of your favorite movie and experience the ambiance and joy of the make-believe worlds?
Universal Studios Florida totally gets that. Not only does the Wizarding World of Harry Potter bring to life the action, adventure and highlights of the cities we love so well from the stories, they are now creating a real-life Hogwarts Express for guest to enjoy!
This first-ever experience of its kind allows guests to actually ride the iconic train between London and Hogsmeade in the Universal Studios theme parks. Guests will be transported from the Muggle world to to the wizarding world as they pass through the brick wall at King’s Cross Station to arrive at Platform 9 ¾
How cool is that?!
And the next question, inevitably is “how soon can I hop aboard?” Summer of this year (2014,) the Hogwarts Express will roll into the station. Keep an eye out for the exact date as you make your summer vacation plans.
Universal’s Creative team has been working closely with Warner Bros., Stuart Craig and the production team from the Harry Potter films to create a sensational Hogwarts Express experience that the entire family can enjoy. The Creative team has gone to great lengths to ensure the experience is true to the books and films. Everything about the train is authentic – from the paint and the materials used to build it….all the way down to the whistle.
Park-to-park admission is required to experience the Hogwarts Express journey from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley (located in Universal Studios Florida) to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade (located in Universal’s Islands of Adventure).
