A Few Of Our Favorite Things Wrapped Up in the Fannie May Mistletoe Holiday Hostess Tower

Fannie May Holiday Hostess Tower

If there’s a candy that stands out from my childhood, it’s certainly Fannie May.  Every holiday we would anxiously await the chance to choose our favorite from the assortment on Christmas Eve, because we knew it was the one decadence my parent’s were sure to receive each year from our uncle (or to splurge on for for family, regardless, if he decided to send something else!)

My brother and I generally fought over the Trinidads (rich dark chocolate covered in a golden, toasted coconut shell) and I hoped for a chocolate-covered cherry the next day, if my dad left any to spare!

If we were really blessed, we’d also find a box of Fannie May Mint Meltaways on the dessert table Christmas day.

Nearly four decades later, I still crave Fannie May candies during the holidays and because the same tried-and-true candy-making methods and recipes are still used by this traditional chocolatier, I can still savor them!

Now that I’m older, I have the ability to gift Fannie May and the confidence to know that my selection will be of quality and well-received by my recipient.

One particular gift, the Fannie May Mistletoe Holiday Hostess Tower is a fabulous selection for bringing to holiday celebrations for the hostess, sending to distant loved ones, or simply bringing home for your family to enjoy.

The Fannie May Mistletoe Holiday Hostess Tower features the Fannie May Colonial Assortment and Assorted Nuts.

The Colonial Assortment is Fannie May’s signature chocolate assortment containing a selection of milk and dark chocolates, toffees, Pixies, Trinidads, buttercreams and crunchy nut clusters.  The very same assortment I enjoyed in my childhood!

I have always loved Pixies from Fannie May. My husband’s job always gives him a box of them to bring home for Christmas and I wait for them all year.
