The first signs of spring are cropping up (or soon will be!) and the energy of renewal is all around.
March is a great month to:
– find deals on carpet, children’s clothing, and luggage.
– snag clearances on ice skates, ski equipment, frozen foods, and of course, after-St. Patrick’s Day candy and goodies.
– solidify plans for spring break travel and shop for any clothing and toiletries needed to avoid a last minute rush
– focus on sustainable living. After all, Earth Day is almost here!
– test your soil and balance with fertilizer, if needed.
– plan your garden and landscape objectives. Write a list of any supplies needed and visualize how the layout will look.
– stop procrastinating about tax season. If you haven’t gathered all your paperwork to file, there’s no better time than the present. Waiting until last minute will ensure headaches and could cause you to make an error, as well.
– pay attention to your bird houses. In many areas, our feathered friends will migrate so be sure that your bird houses are clean and replenished.
– get a make-over. Warmer weather is around the bend, consider buffing up your exercise routine, trying a fresh shade of lipstick, getting a new haircut or picking out a new item for your wardrobe to embrace spring fever.
– plant summer flower bulbs and fertilize roses. Depending upon your region, this may be a great time to start flower seeds and vegtable seeds, like tomatoes, indoors, too.
– make a green drink! Here are a few fun recipes to test out:
