My husband just about had to drag me out of the cake display section of the fair… I certainly could have lingered there longer admiring the amazing detail and clever designs. Here are a few more of my favorite cakes. I hope they inspire you, too!

Are those babies made from icing? and I love the Halloween cake and may try something not tiered for my grand kids like that.
I don’t know whether to thank you for all these lovely photos or not. This morning I was drinking my coffee and thought I should take some cake decorating classes and buy tools. GASP! Where did that thought come from??? I’m thinking it is you, girlfriend.

My favorite is the snowman melting! The babies are not something I think I could actually eat though…. Some of these are ingenious!

HOLY COW!! I cannot believe how beautiful these cakes all are. I went to our county fair and the cakes were no where near this cool.
Those are amazing cakes! I don’t work with fondant yet, because I lack the surface area needed roll it out. Someday maybe. 🙂
