I’m sure I’ve mentioned before how much I love subscription boxes. It’s so much fun to get a little surprise in the mail, isn’t it? Often they come at the best times, too. I’ll come home after a long day of work and kids and sports, and there will be a fun new box of products at my door to open and try out. Subscription boxes brighten my mood, especially when it’s something like My Garden Box.
I received a complimentary sample of My Garden Box and my first reaction was simply “wow!” It is truly a lovely, unique experience and one that instantly speaks to a nature lover’s soul. I expected some type of planting project or planter, but what lay within the box was a complete and thoughtfully curated, top-notch experience.
This box is different because it allows me to indulge in my gardening passions year ‘round, even when there’s snow on the ground! It’s also nice because even though it’s hard to find gardening supplies in the winter, My Garden Box includes everything you need to nurture your green thumb. There is no need to worry about not being able to find soil or plant food.
There are two subscription options. One is for My DIY Garden, and the other is My Monthly Plant. Both are extremely cool. My Monthly Plant is just what it seems to be – a monthly plant. Each month you’ll receive different beautiful living plants or seasonal bulbs, soil, and a uniquely chosen decorative planter. This is a really nice option for anyone who could use a little pick-me-up without the hassle of having to go shopping in cold weather for it.
My DIY Garden is the box that I received. Each month, the box includes live plants, fun containers, growing media, and unique and crafty accents. Even if you don’t know anything about gardening, the illustrations and properly proportioned components make it easy for you to be successful.
In my opinion, My Garden Box is like a gardening class in a box, except you get to enjoy each lesson in your own home on your own time. There’s even something to learn for those of us with a little more gardening experience.
My Garden Box is also a fun way to keep kids occupied and learning over winter breaks and on days with inclement weather. Everyone knows that school vacations don’t feel like much of a vacation if kids are bored and cranky. This subscription box is fun, educational, and can transform a rotten rainy or snowy afternoon into one that involves making great memories.
The box is available in 3, 6, and 12-month options and is also available to give as a gift. I can think of a lot of people that this would make a great gift for. Nature is a gift in itself. Nature in a box? Count me in!
