Watching two frisky puppies on a fun adventure is simply adorable! Recently, during an all-expense paid trip sponsored by Disney, I had the chance to watch the premiere episode of PUPPY DOG PALS which debuts Friday, April 14 at 10:30 a.m. ET/PT. It’s designed for the pre-school audience, but the show is one everyone will quickly fall in love with. I sure did!
Puppy Dog Pals Premiere: debuts Friday, April 14 at 10:30 a.m. ET/PT with two back-to-back episodes on Disney Channel. The premiere episode will also become available that day on the Disney Junior app and Disney Junior YouTube page.
PUPPY DOG PALS is an animated series with puppy dog brothers, Rolly and Bingo, who embark on adventures around their neighborhood and around the world! The core of the show is about the the bond of the family unit, being friend, making friends and what it means to be a good brother. Take a peek at the cutest in store for viewers:
Each show has two back-to-back episodes that are 11-minute shorts. Each one is like a little mini-movie that will capture your child’s imagination with a stories that showcase what a fun, colorful and amazing place the world is.
The puppy’s owner, Bob, is a loving “father” figure in their lives and a source for sparking many of their adventures. For example, Bob’s desire to take a vacation and sink his toes in the sand inspires the puppies to jet off to an exotic location to fulfill that request!
The puppies also have a big-sister-of-sorts, a cat named Hissy who also resides in the home. She’s sometimes the voice of reason but also a protective and nurturing friend.
Initially, Hissy was going to be orange in color but during focus tests with children viewers, the Disney Channel PUPPY DOG PALS team received advice from one young critic that the cat would be better if she were pink and purple, an idea everyone loved.
Because of this rigorous focus group testing and because it’s a Disney Junior show, you can be assured it’s wholesome, appealing fun designed to entertain and inspire. As a parent and a grand parent, these are values that are very important to me, so definitely something I look for when choosing quality programming for kids.
Be sure to tune in tomorrow, Friday, April 14th or set your DVR to make sure your family gets the chance to enjoy this adorable new show. You will totally love it and if you are like me, you’ll wish you had a Rolly and Bingo of your own!
PUPPY DOG PALS will have 25 half-hour episodes this season, so stay tuned for 50 adventures of pure puppy dog fun! For more information, stay tuned at http://disneyjunior.disney.com/puppy-dog-pals
