Do you ever look at someone and wonder what’s going on inside their head? Disney-Pixar’s “Inside Out” takes an exciting and hilarious journey into the mind to find the answer. Based in Headquarters, the control center of 11-year-old Riley’s mind, five emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy. She strives to make sure Riley stays happy as she operates alongside fellow emotions Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness.
My sons are now teenagers and we all loved this film! From my perspective, I could truly appreciate seeing the inner-workings of a child’s mind and how the emotions worked together or against each other. I also got quite a kick out of seeing the mom and dad’s emotions in action. Our entire family laughed throughout the film, enjoying each fun moment and we all appreciated the core theme to the movie which is ultimately the importance of family bonds. Each of us has a favorite emotion in the film, but we all agree that Joy and Sadness steal the show!
INSIDE OUT is a film we’ll watch over and over again! The bonus features are awesome, too! Check out the lineup and get a sneak peek below:
