I love Christmas. I mean, sing Christmas carols at home for the sheer joy of it in July- love Christmas! So imagine my delight when Global Influence asked me to write about Holiday card themes. While this is a sponsored post, all opinions and love of Christmas are 100% my own.
Sending and receiving holiday greeting cards has been a part of my holiday traditions for as long as I can remember. I used to look through all the boxes of cards my Mom would lay out on our kitchen table every year and feel such pride in how organized she was with her lists.
She would always add somebody new to her holiday card list. Sometimes it was a new neighbor or maybe a new co-worker. But the real joy I found in this annual process was how carefully my Mom chose which type of card would be sent to whom. She had to have a variety of card themes on hand to help her make her season’s greetings even more personalized. She chose each one with love and care and took her time writing a person note in each card.
Times have changed from when my Mom bought all her greeting cards at the local stationary store. Now we can simply go online and find a vast array of cards to choose from.
There are so many different types and themes of Christmas and holiday cards to choose from with personalization and oodles of color options available. I really like the JOY PEACE LOVE card shown above and will enjoy personalizing this one when I have the time. I was enjoying discovering all the holiday card themes and before I knew it, I’d discovered holiday party invitations that you can personalize.
Look at these adorable themes, too:
I really like the Rudolph face and the Snowflakes galore themed party invitations, but my must have invitation is the Cookie Party invitations!
Since both of my daughters have already asked if we can host a cookie swap this year, these cuties will be personalizedfirst.
It really is the most wonderful time of the year, so why not sit down with a nice warm cup of tea or cocoa and discover all the clever, fun and beautiful holiday card themesthere are available to you. I can’t wait for Christmas to arrive so I can send out my own personally chosen greeting cards just like Mom did.
Happy Holidays!

I love modern card designs. That cookie party one is so perfect because we sometimes have a Cookie Swap party where everyone bakes 2 dozen cookies and we put 1 dozen of each out for the party and then distribute the remaining to make a goodie box of cookies for everyone to take home. I’ve never made cards for it, but that would be a fun idea.
I am hoping that I won’t wait until the last minute this year to order mine. Thanks for the great inspiration, I really do need to get working on this.
