And definitely well suited for fish faces, too…

Ice pop are created by simply pouring ingredients into the base.  Fruit juices or smoothies, iced teas or flavored waters and other refreshments may be used.  For our first run, I chose a sugar-free fruit drink that my youngest enjoys to deliver some cool refreshment.

When the liquid is filled to the clearly marked “Fill Line,” you insert the reusable sticks by matching the shape on the stick with the shape on the tray (as pictured below,) and then freeze in the freezer.

After freezing, you simple pull up on a stick to release the pop.  One step, no fuss, no need to run under warm water or tug at to release the pop.

If you’ve done everything just right you just might catch a delight frozen fish pop!  (Gummy worm bait, optional!)

The detail on the pop is amazing and the characters are quite fun.  The base is sturdy and easy to grip with a handy built-in drip guard.  There are really no drawbacks, other than the pops disappear quite quickly on hot summer days!  It may be a good idea to have two Fish Pop Ice Pop Molds on hand.  One for immediate enjoyment and one for back-up!

Clean-up is quick and easy, too.  A little hot soapy water and the unit is clean in seconds.

Fish Pops may also be used with a favorite lollipop recipe, chocolate mixed with cream, or even for making coffee pops for adults.  I’m also planning to use for making frozen yogurt pops, a treat our whole family enjoys.

What’s your favorite catch of this summer so far?

What a fun idea! I love the shapes and the cute little handles. I need to get these for my son since I know that he would love them.

I love these! My boys love ice pops and I like the idea of being able to make them out of any juice or drink you want.
