The Fault In Our Stars #Preview

There are some movies that grab you immediately, despite the fact that you inevitably know there will be heart-wrenching moments, you also know there will be joy in simply revealing our very “humanness.”  I know I will be richer for watching the film and can guess that I will not leave the theater unchanged by the experience.  “The Fault In Our Stars,” appears to be such a movie.  Watch the trailer and let me know if you agree…

Hazel and Gus are two teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them on a journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous given that Hazel’s other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in love at a cancer support group.

This looks so good just from the previews. Makes me want to cry and smile all at the same time.

Oh my goodness Barb- I had to call my oldest daughter in to see this trailer because she and I can not wait for this movie! Thank you! We read TFIOS as part of our Mom/Daughter book club and I just have to say- read this book if you haven’t yet, you will love Gus and Hazel too.

Thanks for the tip, Linda! I will pick up the book and read before the movie comes out. How cool that it based on a book you both read in your book club and fell in love with!

This looks like it will be really good. As someone that has had health problems in the past and miraculously gotten through them, I am looking forward to this.
