Earth Day Inspiration and Memories of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival #EarthDay

Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

Our earth certainly has a magical palette and the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival captures the splendor brilliantly each year.

A couple years ago, I had the pleasure of catching the blooms and certainly plan to make a point to schedule a future trip to Disney World to coincide with this spectacular event.

This year International Flower & Garden Festival features a taste of the season at Garden Marketplaces throughout World Showcase, the enchanting glow of displays as they light up the evening, and new topiary additions including Mike and Sully of Monsters Inc., Phineas and Ferb, and many others.  You’ll find all the details at https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/epcot/epcot-international-flower-and-garden-festival/

Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

Since we will not be able to attend this year’s event, we wanted to create a little magic at home.  Inspired by the taste of the season at the Garden Marketplaces, we decided to implement a pizza garden complete with all the fixings for side salads, too.  As we are constantly striving for sustainable practices and ways to share, we’re planting extras to gift our neighbors with.

See how we started and share in our memories of Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival in the short video below:

And in further honor of Earth Day, I hope you enjoy some of the pictures of the gorgeous tributes to all things green and blooming from our previous visit to the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

What a wonderful event. I love the fact that the kids were able to get so involved and be hands-on. These events help families make great memories and the landscaping was simply breathtaking.
