Hello Fresh! The Farmer’s Market and a Gourmet Chef Landed on My Doorstep

Ever struggle to figure out what to put on the supper table and resort to whipping up a frozen or dinner or fast-food option?  Yep, me too… but we all know, that’s a less-than-ideal choice for keeping our personal and family health at optimum levels.

Within an hour after receiving my HelloFresh box delivery, I had an delightful, gourmet meal prepped and ready to serve.  No shopping, no guess-work, and fresh, generous portions to savor… I felt like I had the joy of a professional cooking class experience without having to leave my home

Greeting me upon opening a box of HelloFresh are recipe cards that look as if they came straight from a master chef’s card file.  The ingredients are clearly identified and listed along with step-by-step instruction for preparation.

Under the recipe cards, a cooler hosts a wealth of fresh ingredients encased in bags, clearly marked with a tag indicating the recipe you will use them for.

Fresh vegetables  fresh meat, fresh fruits and all the dry ingredients needed are ready for you to use throughout the week.  It’s akin to having the farmer’s market, butcher shop and grocery store goods arrive on your doorstop, ready for you to enjoy.

The only items you may not find in a delivery of Hello Fresh are basic staples like salt, pepper, butter, sugar and olive oil that you should typically have on hand.  However, my kit did include all of the olive oil I needed for each dish, a helpful bonus!
