Chock full of fun, engaging activities centered around our fair fowl friends, Chicken Games & Puzzles guides kids 6 and up through an entire day in and around the coop.
The guide is structured with with easier puzzles up front leading to more challenging ones towards the back. Each pages is peppered with adorable illustrations, fun facts about chickens and fascinating details that create a delightful learning experience along with enhancing problem-solving skills.
The chicken theme was naturally a draw for me, but also the promise of countless hours of brain-teasing fun. It’s not always easy to grab your child’s attention away from electronic games, but the entertaining pictures, humorous banter, and challenging, yet interesting, activities were an immediate hit with my brood.
The Chicken Games & Puzzles is currently our go-to book for car travel and my youngest son has preferred to pick it up after his school work is finished, rather than asking to watch television. That’s a sure win!
The only drawback is, eventually it will be completed, but no worries really, as there are other Storey Publishing Games & Puzzle books available in the series that I plan to snag to keep the fun going!
Overall, double thumbs up for this book that is truly worth clucking and crowing about!
