Tranquil View with Cabin Fever Vacations in Pigeon Forge

No matter what reason you may be traveling to the Great Smokey Mountains area, it’s hard not to get drawn in by the breath-taking scenic views.  A sub-range to the Appalachians, this gorgeous vacation spot is full of winding roads, hardwood forests, rolling hills, and mountain peaks. It’s one of my favorite areas to visit and certainly a nostalgic one, too, as hubs and I were married there.

Recently I returned to the Smokies for a business trip and had the chance to stay in a Cabin Fever Vacations rental cabin that provided a wonderful view of the Smokies along with a pleasing array of amenities.

The Mountain Top Lodge cabin we stayed in boasts 8 bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms, 2 hot tubs, and the ability to accommodate up to 34 people.  Though we nearly met the people capacity with the writers staying there, the cabin did not feel cramped or crowded at any given time, even will all occupants inside.  For that reason alone, the facility impressed me.

But what I also found appealing was the cleanliness of the cabin, the full kitchen area, pool table and foosball tables, high speed wi-fi, and the lovely porches complete with rocking chairs and amazing views of the mountain tops.

My only complaint about staying there was that I didn’t have enough time to spend at the cabin (due to attending events) to soak in the tranquility, gentle breeze, and gorgeous views.

I plan to rent a cabin for our next family vacation, not nearly as big though, but I expect the luxury and enjoyment to be parallel to my terrific experience this trip.

If you are headed to or planning a trip to the Pigeon Forge area, you can check out Cabin Fever Vacations at http://cabinfevervacations.com  You’ll find that renting a cabin is an affordable alternative that offers more privacy, scenic views, and a full range of desirable amenities to enhance your vacation.  The larger cabins are certainly ideal spaces for group travel or family reunions, as well.

We stayed in one of these cabins once and it was lovely. Pigeon Forge is a great vacation place. Before my father in law became unable to drive the entire family used to go up there near Christmas and spend a weekend.
