Help a Food Network Star Fulfill Her Dreams

Last month, I had the privileged of attending a session where Martie Duncan, of Martie Knows Parties spoke about her blogging experiences and her love of cooking and parties.  The talk was inspiring and such a hoot, she’s one delightfully comedic, down-to-earth, and upbeat gal! I love how she incorporates her passion for parties into everything she does and how she encouraged everyone in the audience to embrace their passions and follow their dreams.

Martie, “slightly over 30”, has always loved to cook and entertain, but her varied career includes stints as a police officer, wedding expert and web content developer. She eventually found her true calling and currently runs her own party-planning business in Birmingham.

Now, Martie’s in the final six with the chance to be one of the final three selected next week to be in competition for the ultimate Food Network Star winner… and she needs our help!

If you’d like to help me help Martie’s dream come true, vote for her today at http://www.foodnetwork.com/the-next-food-network-star-fan-vote/package/index.html  You can vote up to 10 times, so please utilize all 10 if you are able to for Martie Duncan (it only takes like a minute and there’s no registration or anything required!)

Thanks in advance for helping me to help make Martie’s dream a reality!

Tune into the Food Network to watch the eight season of the Food Network Star. The final episode will air on July 22.
