Gearing Up for World Book Night

Picked up my books last night from Coffee Tree Books (Morehead, KY) and I’m ready go!

I’m participating in World Book Night on April 23.  As a life-long avid reader, it’s so exciting to have the opportunity to share my love of reading to encourage others to discover the joy!

On World Book Night, volunteers will be distributing books to over 6,000 towns and cities across America, seeking out light and non-readers.  Numerous companies and authors have made this literacy project possible.  The book that chose me is “Blood Work” by Michael Connelly. a page-turning thriller certain to grip the attention of new readers.

If you want to participate in World Book Night, consider sharing a title from your shelf to encourage another to read and/or sign up for next year’s program at

Together we can make a difference and share the joy of reading!
