Stonyfield Kids Greek Yogurt, The Lorax, and You

We are more movie renters than movie-theater goers, mainly due to location, but had to make a night out at the movies for a showing of The Lorax. Dr. Suess is one of our favorites and the eco-centered message of the film also held strong appeal.  Not to mention it’s 3D, which of course was a terrific pull for the kids!

I won’t give any plot points away, but I will say that The Lorax is a terrific movie with a great sense of humor and a whole lot of heart. My children came away from the movie with a greater sense of why it is so vital to care for our environment.

Caring for our children is, naturally, of great importance, too. Stonyfield, the world’s leading organic yogurt maker, recently launched called YoKids Greek yogurt which provides families a quality product produced without the use of toxic persistent pesticides, antibiotics, growth hormones, genetically engineered ingredients, or artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners.

With 6 grams of protein and an excellent source of calcium made with low-fat organic milk, YoKids Greek is perfect for meal or snack time.  Excellent fuel to keep young bodies nurtured while nurturing our environment.  Or simply plain having fun at home or in the great outdoors.

Stonyfield has also announced its collaboration with Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax and are providing a Lorax-themed game, coupons, and a sweepstakes featured on the new YoKids website at www.yokidsyogurt.com.

Kids will have a blast helping the Lorax match characters from the movie and learning cool environment tips.  Adults will enjoy the money-saving coupons and the chance to potentially win an exclusive screening of The Lorax and a garden for a local school.
