Rural Mom Made This: Holiday Pine Wreath

Had oodles of fun at our county extension 4-H office this week learning how to make a fresh wreath.  The end result of which now hangs proudly on my front door.

The greenery was obtained from a local farm.  They gather up fallen branches each year to be recycled into holiday crafts or mulch.

Bundle them up, arrange in wreath formation (we used a nifty machine to clamp,) add a few fun embellishments and viola- a beautiful greeting!

One of the best tips I learned in class is that common hand sanitizer takes tree sap off of your hands lickety-split!
