Rural Mom Really Useful Weekly Web Picks: Costumes, Crafts, and Cocktails

Each week we’re bringing you some really useful and/or interesting web things we’ve encountered. Chances are if we’ve found it useful, so will you – in which case, we think it’s just plain neighborly to share!

Hope you enjoy this week’s picks:
1) Country Woman Magazine Craft Archives = – An extensive collection of craft ideas and projects, all with terrific pics and easy-to-follow instructions.  This is one of my first go-tos for handmade gift ideas.

2) Costume Idea Zone  -Tons of ideas for make-it-yourself and even last minute costumes.  A few ad pop-ups on this site, but still worth the visit!

3) Drink of The Week (Halloween Drinks)  http://www.drinkoftheweek.com/drinks-by-occasion/halloween/ – A wealth of cocktail concoctions can be found here, searchable by ingredients and occasion.  We found the list of Halloween cocktails to be particularly handy.  The candy-inspired drinks are delightful!
